Wedding Venues in the NC Mountains

This is a list of venues in the NC Mountains that I’m either familiar with or have worked with directly.  They didn’t pay to be on this list and I’m not affiliated with them in any way.  If you know of a great venue that I need to add to the list please contact me! There are plenty of hotels in the area that offer great wedding packages, but I’ve kept this list to options a little different than your standard hotel just to give brides something to consider. Click on the name of any of these venues to visit their website or contact them directly.

Budgeting your North Carolina Mountain Wedding

Before you settle on a venue, finalize your budget!  For example, if your budget is $20,000 don’t even go look at venues that wouldn’t fit into your plan because you’ll be tempted to overspend and then have to cut back on some other portion of your wedding.  A good rule of thumb is that your reception (including food, beverages, rentals and the site) should be between 40 – 50 percent of your total budget.  Most of the other items should end up being around 10 percent each (flowers, wedding photography, dress and tux rentals, music, planner, etc).

Finding great Wedding Vendors in the NC Mountains

Referrals are the best way to find great locations and wedding vendors you’ll love.  Check with your friends and family to see if anyone recommends specific venues, wedding planners, florists or entertainment.  The NC Mountains have a lot to offer and getting recommendations will help you narrow the field quickly.  You can find my personal wedding vendor recommendations by clicking here, and of course, I would love the opportunity to be your wedding photographer!
